I like a chestnut color boots ,chestnut color is a beautiful color, now I'm living in Chicago, I think I know cold, snowy winters fairly well. I've been using these boots for a couple months now and I am so, so happy with them. My feet never get cold or wet, and they have the best traction I've found (short of crampons, which I'm not going to use in a city). Also, unless you have extremely narrow feet, these boots are perfect; enough cushioning for thinner socks, but flexible enough for thick socks, too (which I think most people wear in the winter).
